Energy Assessment

Having discussed and received a rough sizing for a ground source heat pump, it was suggested that  a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is obtained to accurately assess the current & future energy usage and (hopefully) determine the amount of insulation required and get a more accurate sizing.

Given the current plans what additional insulation is required to reduce the amount of heat that is generated by the heat pump ?
Assuming additional insulation is applied, how much electricity will be used to power the heat pump ?

This information is an input to the PV requirement

There will be a combination of renewable technologies that will form an overal solution to the goal of achieving a zero energy usage for the house, which will also contribute towards reducing our carbon footprint.
