Allotments - Colden Common Situation & Options

Current Situation
As of Jan 2009, there were 25 people on the waiting list for an allotment in Colden Common. This as double since 2008 and is likely to increase in 2009. Fair Oak Parish Council has recently made provision for additional allotments (so we know its possible!), and there are “GrowShare” schemes being run in the IOW and Totnes.
Possible Options
The following links explain about “GrowShare” or “LandShare” and is an option that could be pursued to resolve the backlog.
