Having discussed and received a rough sizing for a ground source heat pump, it was suggested that  a Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is obtained to accurately assess the current & future energy usage and (hopefully) determine the amount of insulation required and get a more accurate sizing.

The EST provided a contact that recommended contacting the BRE at Watford and also suggested getting an assessment from the EST’s Home Energy Check which has been done for the property (see below). This doesn’t really help with what else can be done to get the property to an A Energy Efficiency Rating. Watch this space !
